The Consulting Program
We use the KHAG Assessment Instrument to measure the success of your program. CTI’S KHAG’S Assessment Instrument is designed to demonstrate the value of the performance of the TCP of Church Tithing Program and its impact in your congregation.
Implementing the TCP of Church Tithing in the local church would necessitate a paradigm shift in the way the congregation go about their tithing in the church. It would also necessitate a paradigm shift in the way the pastor and his or her leadership team go about receiving the tithes from the parishioners or the congregation.
Generally, because of people’s established mind-sets, attitudes, and traditional orientations, bringing about change in the way things are done in a community and/or a society comes with the natural challenge of resistance, apathy, and or can simply be overwhelming for them.
The local church is a community. Implementing the TCP of Church Tithing would require that the congregation (the church community) is adequately prepared for the paradigm shifts that would occur concerning the practice of tithing in the church.
We know you are busy. Ministering to a congregation for change in behavior and attitude is hard work. We understand you may not have the time or energy to start a tithing program, even though you desperately need one. This is why we have developed a consulting program to help jumpstart the roll out of the TCP of Church Tithing Program in your congregation. We consult on:
Nothing replaces direct contact with your congregation face to face. But what do you say to them about the TCP of Church Tithing Program? CTI will work with you to ask the right questions and to guide your congregation members down the right path. This will involve:
CTI will work with you and your leadership team to utilize its focus group and survey tools, KHAG testing instrument to pre-assess and prepare the congregation’s disposition for the introduction and implementation of the TCP for Church tithing Program.
The pre-assessment is necessary since it would help the church to know what progress has been made in relation to the TCP of Church Tithing impact in the lives of the congregation and the church as a whole.
Focus groups are guided discussions with a small group of members of the congregation. The size of the group may be eight to ten people in addition to a facilitator and a recorder, who takes thorough notes or tape records and transcribes the discussions. CTI uses the group dynamics to elicit in-depth discussions concerning the importance of tithing in the church as well as perspectives on new insights and approaches to tithing in the church.
A survey is a predetermined set of questions used to solicit broad-based information. CTI uses survey to obtain a very broad-based information on the importance that your congregation give to the practice of tithing in the church and also uses it as a tool in obtaining the perspectives of parishioners on new insights and approaches of tithing in the church.
KHAG ASSESSMENT INSTRUMENT
CTI uses the KHAG testing instrument to assess parishioners’ knowledge, habit, attitude, and their growth relations with God. This would be complemented with the church’s records of tithing, fiscal generosity, and records of parishioners’ involvement in various ministries in the church. The testing instrument would be administered to the congregation before and six months after the implementation of the TCP of Church Tithing Program had begun.
CTI will work with you and your leadership team to utilize its participatory bottom-up strategic planning model for the rolling out of the TCP for Church Tithing Program with your congregation.
It’s theoretically proven that a participatory bottom-up approach to community transformation is an effective strategy for breaking apathy and resistance to community change.
CTI’S strategic planning comes with the assistance to work with you in articulating with clarity the vision, purpose, and the objectives for the TCP of Church Tithing Program, project management, taskforce recruitment, and specific taskforce deliverables, for the implementation and evaluation of the TCP of Church Tithing Program with your congregation.

CTI will work with you and your leadership team to deliver the TCP of Church Tithing Program as a unified set of education in your congregation. From the onset, the Teaching must be immediately followed by the Communication programming, and without delay introduce the congregation to the Tithing to Grow in Christ Devotional Workshop, as well as Workshop for the Liturgical Practice of Church Tithing.
