Once you learn how, you need the tools to move forward.

THE TCP OF CHURCH TITHING

The TCP of Church tithing is a programmatic interlock of teaching, communicating and the practicing of tithing designed to bring members of the Church congregation to pursue and to have fulfillments in the five Christian persuasions for Church tithing that are derived from the tithing of Abraham to Melchizedek.

Paper Abstract

THE DELIVERY OF THE TCP OF CHURCH TITHING

While each component is designed to affect the congregation with specific results in the overall scheme and outcomes of the pedagogy and the practice of tithing in the local church, the roll out of the TCP of Church tithing program is to be simultaneously delivered as a unified set of education in the local church. From the onset, the Teaching must be immediately followed by the Communication programming, and without delay introduce the congregation to the Tithing to Grow in Christ Devotional Workshop. Thus, the programmatic interlock of the TCP of Church tithing comprises a planned coordination of teaching, communicating, and the practicing of tithing to create a God-focused relationship driven culture of Church tithing that would center the parishioners to receive fulfillments in the five Christian persuasions for Church tithing.

THE TEACHING

The focus of the teaching is to achieve through instruction a uniformed knowledge and understanding in the congregation concerning the five Christian persuasions for Church tithing extracted from the tithing of Abraham. The instructions are designed with the goal of engendering the parishioners to find fulfilments in the five Christian persuasions for Church tithing of which they would achieve by connecting as a habit, the giving of their tithes with the Tithing to Grow in Christ devotional discipline (a set of devotional acts related to the five Christian persuasions for Church tithing that centers tithers into the rituals of having spiritual communion with God and experience growth in their relations with Him).

THE COMMUNICATION

The Communication aspect of the TCP of Church tithing is based on a guiding principle – Consistently message what you want and intentionally plan/help them achieve the end results. It provides continuous reinforcing and inspiring messages, as ‘Tithing Tips’ to parishioners/members of the congregation. The ‘Tithing Tips’ are point lessons generated from the teaching of each of the five Christian persuasions for Church tithing, encouraging, and admonishing the congregation to find fulfilments in them, by connecting as a habit, the giving of their tithes with the Tithing to Grow in Christ devotional discipline.

THE PRACTICE

Conducting the practice of tithing in the local church is a two-fold approach. Through the ‘Tithing to Grow in Christ Devotional Workshop,’ the practice supports the church leadership in helping the parishioners/members of the congregation gain the propensity for attaching the giving of their tithes with the due diligence in doing the devotional acts set forth in the Tithing to Grow in Christ Devotional Guide. It is an efficient way in helping the congregation to find fulfilments in the five Christian persuasions for Church tithing, for achieving the spiritual dynamics of Church tithing in the local church.

With the ‘Liturgical Practice of Tithing in the Local Church: A Pastors’ Manual,’ the TCP of Church tithing program supports the Church leadership in how to liturgically receive the tithes from the parishioners/the congregation to achieve the sacred nature of Church tithing in the local church.
